This is the first chapter of a story that I have been working on for sometime now. I was inspired by Teddy's hook up with Tripp in the "Enchanted Donkey" and the context of this story is that it is the start of the school year (senior year) and Tripp has left Exteer and comes to West Bev. I am new to this site and trying to improve my writing so any and all comments are accepted. Please be honest and if you hate the story or think of ways it can be improved please tell me. Enjoy!
*first day of school walking hand-in hand with Silver*
"This is going to be a great year. I am so excited for senior year, and my senior project." Silver, Teddy's girlfriend of 8 months said to him as they were walking down the halls of their High School West Beverly. This was the longest Teddy had ever been in a relationship and he was certain that this one would last.
"You're such a keener." Teddy said playfully, kissing her on the cheek. It felt so good to be back together after their brief break up last June, just before summer vacation. But after they had gotten over that rough patch, the summer had been filled with hot days, lounging on the beach in each-other's arms and cuddling by Teddy's rock-lined pool. The nights had been something else, romantic and perfect; just right. Their relationship was near perfect.
It sucked that summer was over, but this year was going to be a good year as Silver had said. This year Teddy really planned to dedicate himself to tennis; more than he had in the past; this year was super important if he wanted to become a professional. He also planned on spending lots of time with Silver. This year was going to be so much less complicated than last year with when he was just getting used to West Bev and Silver wasn't exactly as fond as him as she was now. Like she had said this year was going to be a great one.
In a flash of a second all of his plans changed. If he thought this year was going to be less complicated he was so wrong.
"Montgomery?" a voice from down the hall said.
Teddy looked up to find a face that he would recognize anywhere, no matter how hard he tried to forget. Tripp Willinson, his former roommate from Exeter Prep School walking down the hall, towards him.
Tripp was a gorgeous as he remembered, if not more. He had bright blue-gray eyes that sparkled from the sunlight coming in from the glass doors of the school. He had shaven his light blonde hair down to a buzz cut, making him look more mature. He was wearing a black t-shirt with the name of a rock band on the front and slightly faded jeans with black Nike shoes. The muscles on his arms stuck out and Teddy could almost see his abs through his shirt. He looked amazing.
"Tripp Willinson" He said after a moment, running towards his former roommate and giving him and giving him a slightly awkward man hug and patting him on the back.
"What are you doing here?"
"I go here now. I left Exteer." Teddy noticed that there was a certain tone in his voice when he said left, but he decided to let it go. Tripp would explain later.
"That's crazy man. Uhh, this is my girlfriend Silver." He said gesturing to Silver. He had almost forgotten that she was there.
"Silver this is Tripp; he was my roommate slash best friend at Exteer."
"It's nice to meet you." Tripp said, reaching out to shake Silver's hand.
"You too."
"So what do you have first?" Teddy said holding out his schedule.
"I actually don't know; I was just on my way to the office to pick it up."
"Oh, well let me take you." As an afterthought he added "I'll see you in math, Silver."
