Isaac twisted violently, entangling himself with in the burgundy sheet that lay upon him, clutching furiously at his own hair and the pillow beneath his head. He murmured, kicking out as far as he could in the cocoon he had unwillingly made in his nightmare slumber.
Isaac was lying down in a coal grey room, STOP! LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT! He pleaded with the dark figure that was vaguely familiar to him. He could neither see nor hear the figure properly. There was only a ghostly moan that echoed inside his head. They drifted like a cloud of mist, manifesting into a disembodied form. He panicked and tried to stand up but the non-existent walls were caving in slowly, suffocating him. The barricade began to appear as a pitch black darkness that curved in around each and every crevice available. Isaac gasped for breath but he did not find it as the dense, black and sludge-like, liquid substance evaded his mouth and worked its way down to his lungs.
'NO! No… No. GET OFF OF ME NOW! GET OFF!' Isaac screamed, bolting up from the awkward position he had been laying in. He gasped for breath as the arms around him tried to hold him. 'No get off, get off, please!' Isaac cried out, tears streaming down his face. Scott stroked his hair, 'Calm down, it's me, okay? You are okay now. You're fine, Isaac.' Isaac sighed with relief although still sweating and shaking from the ordeal. He turned around and hugged Scott tightly, burying his face in Scott's shoulder. 'I'm sorry.' Scott pulled away and then kissed Isaac, his eye brows furrowed as he leant in. Isaac kissed back, his hands running up Scott's back, then to his neck. Their bodies together, they sloped downwards towards the mattress. Isaac turned and the alpha put his arms around him as he planted his face in Isaac's hair. They breathed in and out slowly in synchronization as they slowly fell asleep together. For the first time in forever Isaac Lahey slept peacefully, safe and sound next to Scott.
