I watched as another car goes up in flames. But I also see trouble is walking my way in the form of Joe Morelli.

"Cupcake, what is your excuse this time?"

"Joe, Rodney Hooker threw a grenade at the car as he was running away from me. How is this my fault?"

"You always attract the nut cases. You do not have the talent to do this job. You need to marry me and stay home where it is safe."

Ranger stepped up beside her and put his arm around her waist and pulled her close to his body.

"Babe, are you alright?"

"Now I am. Thank you."

"Cupcake, let me take you home."

Look out Mount Stephanie is exploding!

"Joe, go away and leave me alone."

"You going to let this thug muzzle his way in between us?"

"MUZZLE HIS WAY IN? Joseph Morelli! You screw anything with panties, you try to convince me you are not sleeping around but every time I mention a name you have an excuse for why you were with them. You manipulate every aspect of my life to match what YOU WANT, never what I might want! Like that car catching fire. You immediately assumed it was my fault. JOSEPH MORELLI, YOU ARE A LIAR, A CHEAT, A MAN WHORE, YOU MANIPULATE THINGS SO I GIVE IN TO YOU ALL THE TIME. WELL, IT STOPS TODAY! I never want to see you again. You so much as ever call me Cupcake again and I promise you will eat your words. I refuse to fall for your version of a good life. As for my status with Ranger it is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS! I don't kiss and tell nor do I have to tell you if we are or are not a couple because for one: you have no claim on me. Two: If we are a couple does not change the fact I am sick and tired of trying to please you when you don't give a damn about MY FEELINGS! If you do not stay away from me I will file for a restraining order against you. Joseph, when my car does go up it is not a homicide case and DOES NOT REQUIRE YOUR PRESENCE! Leave me alone. You can leave now and Ranger will see to it I get home safely. Get lost, Joseph Morelli."

Stephanie turned to Ranger.

" Can you take me home, Batman?"

"I would love to, Babe. Which "home" do you want to go to?"

"Is the Bat Cave offer still stand?"

"I told you that the Bat Cave is a forever offer?"

"Then take me home to the Bat Cave and if I EVER think of going back to this asshole promptly put me under lock and key or have me committed to a mental ward!"

"Babe, I have a set of rings that could make it permanent and Mr. Morelli will have to respect the law on this point."

"I think a trip to the courthouse is in order for me and you Batman! Is tomorrow too soon for that visit?"

"We still have four hours before they close."

"Then we better hurry up."

"Are you sure about this?"

"I love you, I want to be your wife and finally have a man who loves me, respects my views but most of all some one who wants to please me not just himself."

"If you will excuse us, Joe. We have a wedding to go to!"

The last thing Stephanie said to Joe was.

"Hope you enjoying losing the battle but you are not worth even tying Ranger's boots. So I am telling you in front of all these witnesses. Leave me alone or I will use the law against you. I think I see Some Day on my horizon."

Ranger put his hands on Stephanie's back then turns to Joseph Morelli.

"Checkmate, Morelli! Your greedy stupidity just gave me the best gift in the world."

Ranger put Stephanie in his Porsche and stops by RangeMan long enough to put up both sets of rings.

Before the sun went down Batman had sealed the deal with Wonder Woman!
