Up To No Good

Sirius sat in his dormitory looking solemnly out the window, thinking about his fight with Lupin. It was only a minor argument but Sirius could not get it out of his head.
It all started when they were having breakfast in the Great Hall and Sirius found out that Lupin wanted to ask that Stacey girl out on a date. He was so shocked he almost choked on his drink. The idea of Moony going out with Stacey bothered Sirius for some reason. It really bothered him. After a long coughing fit, Sirius sat there with a smirk on his face as he thought of ways he could stop this from happening.
"You're up to no good." Remus stated plainly.
"What would make you think that?" Sirius asked with a grin still on his face.
"I can see it in your eyes. I would swear that you are up to no good."
Sirius shrugged and replied, "So what? No big deal."
At this Remus got rather angry and stood up. He did not shout but the fierce edge in his voice was clear, "No. Not that it is any of your business, but this is a big deal. Well, for me it is. So leave me alone. I really like Stacey. She's pretty, she's funny and she's so nice. I have wanted to ask her out for a long time I don't want any of your shit to muck this up for me."
Sirius sat beside James with a puzzled look on his face as he watched Lupin storm off to class.
Remus had not spoken to Sirius all day and suddenly Sirius was regretting his actions. Even after he tried, he still could not stand the idea of Remus going out with Stacey. What was even worse than that was that he could not think of anything that he could do to stop it.
Downstairs he heard James' booming laugh fill the Gryffindor common room accompanied by Moony's much quieter laugh. He could hear their footsteps as they climbed the staircase. Suddenly Sirius knew exactly what he was going to do.
Just as Remus were entering the dormitory Sirius had sprung from the window pane, speeding straight towards the door. He could feel his heart beat getting faster and faster as he finally reached where Remus stood.
Sirius threw his arms around his neck and pushed himself onto Remus with the most passionate kiss. And at that moment nothing else mattered. Not who was there, not why they were there, that Sirius was kissing Remus and Remus was kissing him back. It sent jolts down his spine as he held himself as close to Remus as he could, feeling his the warmth of his body, feeling ragged hair between his fingers, feeling his soft lips against his own.
Slowly they began to break away. Sirius stood back, hearing his deep breaths more than anything else.
"Okay. What was that?" James asked, with his left eyebrow raised.
Sirius found himself staring at Remus with only one reply. "Mischief managed."
With a large smile on his face Remus, wrapped his arms around Sirius once more.
