They had been F.R.I.E.N.D.S for ages.
Best F.R.I.E.N.D.S in fact.
So when the ~HaLlOwEeN bAlL~ was announced, they never *dreamed* of going together.
/\Rose/\ was asked by m-a-n-y boys, 13thirteen13 to be precise.
But none of them were ?right? for her.
!Scorpius! was asked by m-a-n-y girls, 13thirteen13 to be precise.
But none of them were ?right? for him.
"/\Rose/\" !he! said "we should go as F.R.I.E.N.D.S"
"Okay" /\she/\ replied (secretly()very()happy).
On the night of the ~bAlL~, /\Rose was in a beautiful RAVENCLAW blue dress.
!Scorpius! was in a tux with a RAVENCLAW blue bowtie.
"You look gorgeous" !he! said. /\She/\ blushed.
"You don't look too bad yourself."
They set off -arm-in-arm-. The Great Hall was decorated with pumpkinsandlivebats and there was a ;student; on the door, handing out ~HaLlOwEeN~ props.
/\Rose/\ got cat ears.
!Scorpius! got devil horns.
"Perfect" grinned the ;student; for ;he; knew them both well.
The ~bAlL~ was great. !He! and /\she/\ danced the night away and got 'closer' than they ever would've thought.
Ooo Much Later ooO they were slow dancing.

And !Scorpius! couldn't resist.
!He! leaned in and kissed /\Rose/\, softlyand sweetly.
/\She/\ was shocked, but didn't c,o,m,p,l,a,i,n...
