Chapter One: Ain't No Gods No More.

"NO!" Screams echoed through the forest, as gunshots went off, and moans from walkers were heard. A young girl, ran through the forest, crying hard. She tripped, and fell down a hill into an open meadow. She sat, and cried.

"Why? WHY?!" She screamed as she threw her bag down. A small box fell out. She looked at the box and quickly picked it up. She opened it carefully. It had a small, golden locket, with a Greek symbol on it. She smiled, still crying as she opened the locket. It was a picture of her family. She dropped the box, and a note fell out.

The note said: "Dear Raphael Legend, I am so proud of you. If you are reading this, it means you are OK, and survived longer than we have. I am so sorry to have left you. I will always watch over you though. I promise. Please, stay safe. Find a group of survivors. Stay with them. And of all things, stay happy. Stay positive. I love you. I know you love me and will miss me, but once you love someone, they will stay in your heart forever. Love, Lotus Legend."

Raph began to cry, as it drew small tear drops on her Mothers note. She folded the note, and put it back in the box. "Aw Mom, you always knew I was emotional." She picked up the locket. "The symbol of the Gods. There ain't no Gods no more."

She put all the things she had dropped back into her bag. She then began to walk away. After many hours, she ran into a forest, then into a wall. She hid, so she couldn't be seen by the guards. Night was coming.

"Yo! Show yourself!" One guard shouted. Raph shuddered. She began to hesitate, deciding if she should show herself, stay in hiding, or run.

"I said, SHOW YOURSELF." the guard said louder. Raph began to hyperventilate. She cannot be in such stress, or bad things may happen. She cracks under pressure. She didn't move.

"Show yourself, or I shoot." Raph snapped. She pulled at her bag, raised her arms, and walked out. Sweat dripped from her face, as the guards looked her up and down.

""Ayyy, we got a Chickie." One guard says. Raph mutters a curse under her breathe.

"Now Now, come inside." Another guard says.

"Why should I? You threatened to kill me." She said, loudly.

"That goes to show that this is a protective place." Says a Guard.

"Well, that don't mean you go shooting every damn person who comes by." Raph says, angry.

"Did we shoot you?" Another guard says.

"You threatened to." Raph shouts, growling under her breath.

"Just come in." shouts a guard, as Raph climbs over the gate.

She dropped down, hoping no one would notice a 13 year old girl trespassing on their land. She snuck into a tree, making a little leaf blanket, and went to sleep. Morning came, but not peacefully. She got shook out of the tree by a woman with blond hair.

"Hey there, Kid. Where'd you come from?" She says.

"I came from Boston, but moved to Atlanta. And my name is Raphael." Raph scolds.

"Now now, no need for fierce attitudes" Says a man who has an eye patch over his right eye.

"Hello." Raph says,

"Hello, I'm Andrea" Says the blonde woman.

"You can call me the Governor." Says Eyepatch-Man. "Welcome to Woodbury."
