Another original Jay-Jay story, this time it's "Terrytown Olympics" Enjoy and comment.
All the airplanes at Terrytown Airport were excited for the annual Terrytown Olympics. There were lots of events for the airplanes to compete in, and everyone was excited.
The most excited airplane of all was Tracey. She was going to take part in the Sky Ring competition, and was determined to get a gold medal. Last year, she had came in second and won a silver medal, but this year she wanted to win it all.
Herky and Snuffy were training her for the Sky Ring competition.
"Alright Tracey, are you ready?" asked Herky.
"As always!" replied Tracey.
"On your mark, get set, go!" said Snuffy.
Tracey took off, determined to impress Herky and Snuffy.
She flew through all the rings.
"Turn right at the next set of rings." said Herky.
But Tracey was so excited that she didn't hear Herky. Instead, she flew through the left set of rings, not the right.
When she landed, Herky and Snuffy were not pleased.
"If you want to win a gold medal, you need to follow the rules." said Snuffy.
"Okay, I'll try." said Tracey.
So Tracey tried again, and this time she listened.
The Terrytown Olympics were held the next day. Many spectators came out to see all the events, and cheer on their favorite airplanes.
The final event held that day was the Sky Ring competition. Tracey had practiced all afternoon yesterday, and all morning today, and she was determined to get a gold medal.
Herky and Snuffy were cheering her on from the ground.
The other three competitors were from another airport, but they were painted green, red, and black. Tracey was the hometown hero.
At last, the Sky Ring competition started. The pilot waved his green flag, and all four planes took off. Tracey was in last.
As they approached the first set of rings, Tracey revved up, and took control of first, going into the first set of rings.
She was determined to win!
But at the end, Tracey came in second, with the red airplane coming in first.
"It's alright Tracey." said Herky. 'We're all proud of you.
"That's alright." said Tracey with a smile. "You can't win everything."
All the airplanes laughed, and Tracey felt very proud coming in second.
