I wanted to do a short cute child fic with Pacey and Joey and well, this is as close as I came! LOL.

12 year old Dawson knocked on the door of the Potter household once again while his best friend Pacey stood by his side impatiently.
Finally Lily Potter opened the door.
''Joey's not feeling to good today guys. She won't be able to play.'' Lily said.
''What's wrong with her?'' Dawson asked.
''She'd rather you guys didn't know.'' Lily said, smiling gently.
''Women problems?'' Pacey asked knowingly.
Lily almost laughed, remembering the young boy had three sisters. He would know.
''What are women problems? Can we catch them?'' Dawson asked, worridly.
For a twleve year old boy, he wasn't that smart.
Pacey rolled his eyes.
''You can't catch women problems!'' he exclaimed.
Lily laughed.
''You boys go on and play.'' she said, closing the door.
''I'm gonna go home. I don't wanna get sick.'' Dawson mumbled, before running to the dock and rowing away.
Pacey suddenly got an idea and ran into town.

Lily heard another knock on the door and answered it to revel Pacey standing there, a box of choclates in his hand.
''Hi Mrs. Potter. I brought Joey some candy to help her feel better.'' he said, blushing slightly.
Lily smilied.
''Go on and see her Pacey.'' she said to the young boy.
He entered the house and walked slowly to Joey's room. He knocked gently on the door.
''Come on!'' he heard her yell.
He opened the door and stepped in.
''Hey Potter.'' he said, smiling brightly.
''What are you doing here Pacey?'' Joey asked.
She was lying on the bed, a book in hand. The heating pad was on her stomach.
''I knew you weren't feeling well so I brought you something.'' he said, shyly, showing her the box of candy.
She smilied.
''Thanks Pacey.'' she said, moving over and patting a spot on the bed.
He sat down next to her and handed her the candy.
''Do you want one?'' she asked, offering him one.
He nodded and took one.
''So, whatcha doing?'' Pacey asked.
Joey gave him a look.
''Just asking.'' he said.
''Nothing really. I'm bored out of my mind! I wanted to go with you and Dawson but my mom said I couldn't.'' Joey said, unhappily.
''You wanna do a jigsaw puzzle?'' Pacey asked.
''Sure.'' she said.
He grabbed one and they set it up on the table near her bed. They spent the afternoon doing jigsaw puzzles, watching TV and laughing at Pacey's jokes.
Lily entered Joey's room with a cup of tea.
''How you feeling sweetie?'' Lily asked, handing her the tea.
''Ok.'' Joey said, softly.
''How about you take a nap?'' Lily suggested gently.
''Ok.'' Joey said.
Lily left to get her a blanket.
''So, I'd better go. I had fun Potter.'' Pacey said.
''Me too. You made me forget my tummy ache.'' Joey said, smiling.
Pacey grinned and took a deep breath before leaning down and kissing her cheek quickly.
''Bye Jo.'' he said, blushing bright red and hurrying out the door.
Joey sat shocked on her bed, before touching her cheek gently.
Lily watched as her daughter reeled from her first kiss from a boy. She smilied softly as Joey said aloud to herself,
''Maybe Pacey isn't so bad after all.''
