A/N: WOW! I am just cranking out one-shots now! :D Enjoy! And please review! This one is personally a favorite of mine. This is for EVERYONE out there, whether a boy or a girl, who's suffering from a breakup. This is my advice to you.

*O*O*O*O*O*O*

The world can seem so evil at times. Everyone turns their back on you. The one person you entrust your heart with seems to always drop it to the ground and step on it a few times. For a while, I thought that I had the worst life in the world. I kept asking the Spirits above why they gave me all the hard times.

My fingers tightened their grip on the scarf around my neck. I had left my family without even telling them when I'll be back. I needed to think. By myself. My feet subconsciously kicked at the rocks in the way. My ears perked at every little crunch of a leaf. It was autumn, so the colorful leaves littered the roads.

"WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG? WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME? YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY?" I scowled to the skies. My hands pulled at my brown hair in confusion. My blue eyes twitched with fury. I couldn't take it anymore. My shoulders fell and I dropped into the grass below.

You're feeling sorry for me…

Don't. I was wrong. People, including me, take breakups so hard. True, it hurts like hell to be betrayed. But sobbing in the grass isn't the answer.

During my outbreak, someone tapped my shoulder, gently.

"Go away!" I shouted. The person quickly took their hand away. I could hear footsteps scurrying away. To this day, I don't know who he or she was. Too bad. She was just trying to help.

You don't let anyone in. You close yourself in and feed on your insecurities. That's the problem. Look what that person did to you. By stealing your heart, your heartbreaker has made you a monster. To others AND yourself.

I held the knife to my wrist. My brain was telling me to stop, that I was being stupid. My heart was telling me to go on. What's the point in living when you're hurting this much?

"Katara! STOP!" Sokka screamed from the door and grabbed the knife from my hand. I glared at him and walked away.

Suicide is NEVER the answer. Family is…

"Sweetie." Dad called me as I picked at my food. "Aren't you hungry?"

"No." I walked away to my room without looking back. I could feel their worried stares on my back.

You don't know what to do. You think you're past the stage of recovery. You're WRONG. We're here for you. And you'll make it. You just need to open up.

I was sobbing and letting my heart out in my mother's lap. Sokka was on the other side of me. I could feel his hands patting my back affectionately. Dad was kneeling on the floor, holding a bucket. I was throwing up a lot. I can still taste it in my mouth.

Friends are here for you.

"Look what you did to Katara!" Suki screamed as she punched him in the jaw. A sickening crack resonated through the room. Toph kicked him on the floor and punched him in the eye. A black, throbbing bruise covered his eye.

"My turn." Sokka glared at the boy who was now cornered on the floor.

Of course, fighting is NOT the answer. My family is just very violent. But they're the best and I could never have asked for any better family.

I haven't smiled in a long time, so I forgot how beautiful it felt. My friends are right behind me and I'm behind them.

"You coming, Katara?" Aang called out.

"Coming!" And I ran to Aang and Toph and squeezed them in a hug.

"Whoah! Sugar Queen!" Toph laughed, "We love you too."

Don't give him the pleasure of ruining your life. You're wonderful and you deserve MUCH better. We're all here for you. So, for us, please come back.
