A/N: I was looking up Sora/Roxas pics on DeviantArt the other day and I found a fanart that pretty much screamed to have something written about it. So here it is ^^

This was never supposed to happen.
We weren't supposed to hurt people.
We weren't supposed to be hurt.
But here we are, walking down the hall hand in hand, unable to look at those who matter. You pass Sora without a glance but I see his hurt. I see his blank stare that is supposed to hide his hurt. I see his head bowed as we pass, unable to see us together.
Axel passes us without a glance but I see his hurt. I see his head bowed as he passes us, unable to see us together. I can't help it as my head turns as he disappears behind us to catch one more glance of the man that I loved.
You stare straight ahead as though there is no one to see, nothing to look at. I see it all.
Once upon a time there was Axel and I. In another life, there was Sora and you. We were happy. We were in love.
And then we met.
Problems ensued with our current relationships. Fights, distrust, hurt faced us at every turn. We did the logical thing and left our lovers. Finding each other, we did what we could to forget. Now, there is nothing but pain, nothing but avoidance.
We can't escape it. He won't take me back. You won't turn back to accept the forgiveness that awaits you.
So now all we can do is cling together to forget. To forget them, forget the hurt; forget the stares that we avoid.
We are sorry but it's not our fault.
We couldn't help that things went wrong.
