Basically a funny meeting that takes place in Pete's world.
I don't own Doctor Who, I'm not that good
Rose Tyler smiled for the paparazzi in her pink designer gown and jewels as she clutched the hand of her six year old daughter, Donna who was in a pretty pink tea-length dress and was obviously enjoying the attention. When the paparazzi were done with them Rose led her daughter inside the hall. "Why isn't Daddy here, Mummy?" She asked innocently "and why did all those people want so many photos of me?" Rose smiled "it's a women and children benefit, love. The nice people outside just want to show everyone we were here, since Gramps has so much money." she explained simply. "But why, Mummy?" Donna persisted stubbornly. "You'll understand when you're older" Rose replied, wincing at how cliche that sounded. Desperate to change the subject, she pointed out a small red-head sitting by herself at a table in a yellow knee-length dress. Donna grinned at her mother and skipped over to the other girl. Rose felt herself smile as she went. Donna was the image of her mother save her father's gravity-defying brown hair and his maniacal grin. She also inherited all of her father's energy much to her mother's chagrin. Rose watched from a distance as Donna talked the other girl's ear off. To her surprise the ginger cut in half way through and started her own rant. Rose laughed then noticed that a woman, most likely the small ginger's mum, was giving her an odd look. The woman stood suddenly and walked over to Rose rather hesitantly "I'm sorry but you look familiar, do I know you?" She asked "I'm Donna Noble by the way" She added.

Rose stared at the woman in shock. This nervous, shy woman who wasn't talking to anyone couldn't possibly be the Donna Noble she remembered. "Maybe she is an alternate Donna?" Rose thought, deciding to play along. "No, I don't believe we've met. I'm Rose Tyler though, pleasure to meet you Donna." Donna smiled "That's my daughter's name too." The two launched into an easy conversation as they swapped stories about their daughters. "It's funny" Donna said "we're Donna Noble and Rose Tyler and our girls are Rose Noble and Donna Tyler." "Yes" Rose agreed "funny" as she strained to keep her eyes on the two mischief-makers. Meanwhile, the six-year-olds had become fast friends. The cheeky, mischievous red head and the energetic, over the top brunette. "Mummy!" They called through giggles and sniggers "can Rose/Donna come over to play tomorrow?" They asked in unison, causing even more giggles to come forth. Rose shrugged and looked over at Donna who agreed to let them come over to her own manor (newly purchased. Funny the winning lottery ticket was a wedding gift. Although, now that she thought of it she couldn't remember who gave it to her...) as long as they behaved themselves, looking pointedly at the red headed angel who was standing there oh-so-innocently next to her brand-new accomplice.

And that was the start of two beautiful friendships that would soon become the stuff of legends.
