Silent

You sit there

Looking at me

Blank

Emotionless

Ignoring me

It's been this way

For years

We used to have it all

Love was never

In short supply

In the grass

Of the orchard

We'd talk

Make Love

We'd talk about Kids

We'd talk about the

Future we dreamed of

And now

Years

Gone by like a dream

Dissolved

Diluted

Our love is fading

Fast

You spend

Time with your friends

But not me

My love

Don't you see

I am wearing

My new dress

Tonight

And you don't even notice me
