That's Easy

I have no idea who the two people are. I was originally going to put who said what, but I really have no idea who they are, they could really be any male/male pairing. So let your mind free ans tell me who you imagine the two people talking are.

"I promise you, I will love you forever."
"Promising is easy."
"I know it is, but I mean it."
"Why should I believe you?"
"Because I know you love me too."
"That doesn't matter. You can be head over heels for someone, want them in your life forever...but never trust them."
"Are you saying you don't trust me?"
"I promise you... I never will."
Then the male left, leaving his lover looking after him with sad eyes. The older male couldn't hwelp but play his loves words back in his mind; "Promising is easy. I promise you... I never will" and wondering, if that promise would break as easily as his love believed his would.
