Canvas Warfare was orignally known as PictoChat War, a role-play game played on my, my sister's, best friend's, and her brothers' Nintendo DS's.
PictoChat War was about five four man teams setting out to find five mystical crystals, hidden throughout the world's natural wonders. Each team had its own strengths, weaknesses, and personalities. However, the plot didn't stay simple for very long, and evolved into a huge, complicated story itself. The locations of each of the crystals were originally planned as follows:

Note: an asterik is placed next to each character based off of a real person. Most of the other characters listed are either our own creations, or the property of Masashi Kishimoto, the mastermind behind anime/manga Naruto.

The ages were meant to be kept generally in the same age groups.
By the end of Pictochat War (ending up to have lasted about three long seasons), teams Madagascar, Africa, and Leaf Village had banded together to accomplish their goal. They banded together to battle Fahefana (name meaning power in Malagasy), a powerful antagonist previously associated with Team Madagascar. While the crystals were recovered, Fahefana proved to be a handful, and the teams ended up encountering a near-death experience. With him still alive (but the crystals recovered), the teams bid farewell to each other and went their separate ways, promising to never forget the bonds that they formed during the epic journey.
Which brings me to the next best thing: Canvas Warfare. A continuation of the story of PictoChat War, but even more in depth, complicated, thrilling, and funny than the first. It takes place approximately three years after the departure scene in PictoChat War, and much has changed for the better regarding the plot and characters. It is with this new adaptation, that the people in charge have decided to write a similar novel version of the story as it progresses, which is what will be posted on this website. We are all extremely excited to be sharing this project with others, and hope you will enjoy it as much as we have grown to over the years.
