Deputy Dunn of the Los Santos County Sheriff's Office was sitting in his squad car on the side of Retton Pass, continously checking cars for speeders. The 50-year-old patrolman glanced down at his watch to see that it was a quarter until five in the morning. The moon was slowly residing in the east. Suddenly, two pairs of headlights caught his attention. As they got closer, it became apparent that the driver of one of the cars had a gun, and was firing on the passengers in the second vehicle. As they passed him, he flipped on his lights and sirens, and sped out of his hiding spot. "Dispatch, dispatch, this is Car 15. In pursuit of armed suspect in grey Lincoln Contenintal, Plate # Eight-Tango-Whiskey-Foxtrot-Niner-Alpha-Omega. Heading northbound on the Great Ocean Highway," He said, over the radio. "Repeat, suspect is northbound on the Great Ocean Highway,"

At the Paleto Bay city limits, several Sheriff's vehicles were diversly parked, blocking the road into town. The deputies stood behind the blockade, armed with pump-action shotguns and semi-auto pistols, awaiting the suspect. The Sheriff got on a megaphone as the three cars came into view.

"Stop your vehicle! Stop your vehicle and dismount!" He shouted as Dunn and the victims pulled off. "We will fire! This is your last warning!"

He signaled for one of his deputies to fire a shot into the tire. The deputy hit it directly, causing the suspect vehicle to spin out of control before coming a stop.

"Step out of your vehicle with your hands in the air," The Sheriff ordered as the deputies approached the halted sedan.

The suspect complied and Dunn forced him to the ground. As Dunn started putting the cuffs on him, the suspect spun around and swung a shard of glass at Dunn. Dunn and another deputy forced him back on to his stomach.

"DO NOT MOVE!" The deputy said, assisting Dunn.

"Move again," The Sheriff said, pressing the barrel of his sidearm into the suspect's temple. "Move again,"

As the suspect was carted off, the Sheriff looked at the side of Dunn's face. Dunn reached up to his ear and found a few droplets of blood.

"I'll be fine," Dunn said. "Just make sure that he sees his day in court,"
