The Dance

They took her to places

through lakes, rivers and seas,

She saw so many faces.

she wanted to stop, but all the shoes did then was increase

the dance.

Night and evening came, and still

the shoes continued,

Without her will.

They continued

the dance

All she had once wanted, was a dance,

but only at home, or very close

not in England, Greece, or France!

She now wished she was a daisy, or a rose. Then she wouldn't have to continue

the dance.

A dream has turned

into a nightmare

Her feet burned,

and instead of help people gave her a stare. She no longer wanted to continue

the dance.

It had once seemed so great, such an amazing chance,

but all she now wanted was stop,

the eternal dance.
