Life for Mr. Peabody wasn't going to be as independent as it was years prior. He had grown to adapt as he always has, but now to the lifestyle of raising a child. To which he thought he could do superbly. For this was just another task
at hand, a challenge-Peabody loved challenge. For one, he could always work through any series of various problems and scenarios that were ever pitched his way. Fetching the answers was as simple as finding a bone underneath the
ground. He knew raising a human child was just the thing he needed to cross off on his list of remarkable achievements. For Peabody, anything was possible. Knowing he could raise his own prodigy, train his own genius-a
trophy. This idea was possible for Peabody, because simply, he's Mr. Peabody. How hard could it be? Well of course, for him that is. Every equation has an answer, every river leads to an ocean-but this isn't a task, a game, a puzzle,
an amazon exploration- nothing in this could be won or found. Mr. Peabody doesn't know that what he is in for will change him for the rest of his canine life. For someone who knows all the answers doesn't necessarily have the human
touch.
"I refuse to be called by that ridiculous name."
Daddy. That is what Sherman needs. Daddy...
Abandoned by his own and left only to feel a void to himself, unexplainable. Not even beggars would sniff this. A bone that could not be found. He had been alone. But no, he won't let himself falter, a spitfire! He has a secret backbone
many would take as 'poor optimist'. No matter what happened to him he moved through whatever it was with ease, there was always tomorrow. Similar to Mr. Peabody's intellect and ability to work through anything…but no, this is
different. They are different, yet the idea is the same. Sherman-a heart, Peabody-a mind. The two will have to learn to work together in order to stay alive and just as importantly, thrive.
"There's a hole in your logic,
You who know all the answers,
You claim science ain't magic,
And expect me to buy it
So busy showing me where I'm wrong,
You forgot to switch your feelings on,
So, so superior, are you not,
You could love a little bit oh, but you forgot
Your life is subtraction,
Your number is up,
Your love is a fraction,
It's not any more
You promised you would love us, but you knew too much,
You had all the answers but no human touch-"
