Epilogue

Fire. Fire was all I could see. The screams of terror released from the voices of my animals. I looked and quickly tried to spot any critter that was missing, and then it hit me. Angel! My wings fluttered open, darting into the flames. Hot sweat dripped down my forehead, while a scorching pain in my right wing burned like the sun, but still I soared, in search of the pure white bunny. I stopped when a ring of fire opened up, showing a scared ball of fur holding a bucket, of what appeared to be boiling water. Angel frantically threw the bucket, making the flames he aimed at disappear for seconds before coming back. I cried out Angel's name, and when he looked up, the hope in his eyes sparkled. I swooped down to pick my bunny up, but my wings burned. I quickly looked at them, and saw that the tips were burnt and black as coal. My feathers had red at the tops. I held back tears and took the rabbit I into my grasp, darting away. I closed my eyes shut but peeked to see where I was going. I arrived with the others, but in the process of dropping Angel in safety, I fainted.
