he'd forgotten how that felt

he'd forgotten what it was like

to have no-one by your side

mhari had been there

now she wasn't

back to being alone

the cold darkness

swallowing him

he can't breathe because the water

is filling his lungs

and he can't see

because the water is

in the way of the sunlight

the ocean bottom

at least he's stopped falling
