"Spencer?" The teenager groaned and sat up in bed, phone at her ear. A glance at the clock told her it was almost four in the morning.
"Do you love me?"
"You're calling at this time to ask something like that?" The teenage girl did not like to be woken from her slumber, even by her girlfriend.
"I…" Ashley stumbled, her usual confidence non-existent.
"You already know the answer." Spencer soothed as she lay back down in bed. "I love you it's four in the morning or the afternoon." A smug smile graced Ashley's lips.
"I love you too. 'Night."
