She waited with the preacher for an hour. She called him but it went to voicemail. She gets that his job is important and secretive but he knows about this appoint before he went to Miami. He finally looked at his phone, 13 missed calls from Abigail. He calls to apologize, she asked him where he was, he could have lied to her but he didn't, he told her he was with Mary at the funeral to see he preparations for her father's passing. She gets the fact that their partners but to miss an appointment with the preacher whose going to marry them, that was the final straw. She tells him that no apology is needed and that is over. She will cancel the banquet hall that was booked and thankful that the invitations weren't sent. He should have been sorry for this but deep down he wasn't, he knows what he should do. He'll wait a few days and really tell Mary how he feels not the subtle way he did before she went to Mexico.
