The End Is Here
Rin fell to the ground, blood stained the front of her tattered dress.
"RIN!" Len cried, falling to his knees.
"L-Lenny? I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" she cried
"Rin! You did nothing wrong! They did this!"
"Lenny, it is my fault, I told them where we were!"
She looked at the clock hanging on the wall. it was almost 12:00 PM.
"The end is here, Len. I betrayed us and now we will pay."
"No! Rin, you aren't leaving me! I can get you all healed up and we can live for eternity! Remember, Princess? Together forever."
Rin sadly smiled.
"Lenny, can you sing me that song you made up when we had friends?" Rin said, her voice cracking.
"Kimi wa oujo boku wa meshitsukai Unmei wakatsu aware na futago Kimi o mamoru sono tame naraba Boku wa aku ni datte natte yaru... Rin i can't let you go!" Len was sobbing.
"Len, its your turn to rule. I wish in our next lives you could be the prince and I would be your maid. That way we would still be together."
"I love you." they said at the same time.
Right at twelve, a bullet hit both twins at the same time. They died at the same time.
No one remembers the twins who played with the other orphans. No one cares about the two bodies in the alley. No one will notice the dried tears that stained their perfect faces. Most of all no one will care about the lives lost that day.
