A:N/ Not really sure where this idea came from, but let me know what you think.

Akasuna No Sasori sat quietly under a tree fifty meters away from the Akatsuki hideout. He wasn't sure why, but something had led him here. Maybe the fact he just wanted to be alone for a while. He sighed quietly as the wind blew through his red hair. Sasori claimed to be emotionless, but deep down he knew he wasn't completely. But enough to hold up his reputation and hide his emotion, whenever it aroused. Tonight was one of those nights. He felt completely lost for some reason. It was an odd feeling, considering the last time he recalls feeling lost was as a small child, after his parents passed away. A small cry alerted his attention. He grabbed a kunai from his pocket and crouched down slightly, and moved towards the sound of the small cry. 'It could only really be a child…' he thought to himself, but knew better than to let his guard down. Instead, he moved towards the tree the cries had come from, and looked around.

He lowered his kunai, and stood back up to his height. It really was just a small child. A little girl with red hair and golden eyes looked up at him. Indeed she was crying. She moved further away. For once in his life, Sasori felt sympathy towards her. He didn't understand why for a second. Sasori crouched down in front of her. "What are you doing out here?" He asked in a cold, flat tone. She looked up at him. "My parents left me in the woods…they don't want me" She said, and cried. Sasori didn't like it. "Stop." He said. The girl did exactly that. "What's your name?" he asked. "I don't have one" she answered. Sasori sighed.

He could always train her as his prodigy and if she proved to be no use, then he could always just add her to his collection…Sasori stretched his arms out to her. "Come with me." He said. The girl nodded and stood up, following his order quickly. Sasori picked her up, and headed back to the hide out. This would be an interesting one to explain to Pein.

A:N/ Short introduction. I'll update soon~
