"C'mon James you can do it" the hunter in a green hoodie called to his nervous friend. "The water only comes up to just above your knees." James preferred hunting animals instead of people, his favorite being fish. Will was trying to help him, showing him it's a lot easier when you get in with the fish. James cautiously stepped in, flinching a bit at the cold sting of the water.
Once used to the temperature James started looking around, careful not to make too many movements so the light splashes wouldn't startle anything away. After a few minutes of trying, James managed to catch one. He hopped out immediately and shook the water off his legs, waiting to eat until Will also caught a fish.
After they finished their catch, the two hunters went back to the rest of the pack.
"Where've you two been? Hunting I hope," their pack leader said as he went over to them.
Nodding eagerly Will told him he had been helping James hunt fish more efficiently. Jack gave a frustrated sigh. When he told Will to help James hunt he had meant help him hunt people.
Shrugging it off Jack decided he would talk about it to Will later. Turning to James, Jack pulled a book from one of the pockets in his hoodie. "Found this, thought it could do you some good. If you need help with it Get Danny to help, it'd do him good too."
James looked at the book, though he wasn't able to really tell what it said. Before the infection he needed glasses, so now without them, and missing an eye, reading was close to impossible. Looking around he found Danny and asked him to tell him what it said.
Danny read the cover of the book and gave a groan. "It's Jack trying to be funny. It's called 'How To Be A Zombie'."
