Tulip

Not actually a book, just a poem. I have watched way too many sad movies.

You stand there watching, waiting for the time,

I sit there talking, oblivious to the climb

you shall make.

In the silence of the garden, you bump me, then give your pardon,

and I blush a little as you turn and leave.

Over time, we got to know each other, all to our happiness.

But a simlpe step led you to hold me in my greatest down,

whispering solace while embracing me in your arms.

Hearing nothing but your sweet voice, I drift into the darkness.

Upon my wake, a tulip in your place, such a memory I shall never

forget.

The times I pushed you away, you followed.

The names you took, while remaining silent.

The hits you recieve, nothing but a poke.

For the tears I shed, you ask forgiveness.

Even after hearing the shot, its only when I go cold do you realise

how lonely it is.

While I watch from a distance, you lay me down,

and I see the sadness you feel.

Placing the tulip down, you go for help, even when you were too late.

My love you are not alone, for I follow your every move,

I stand in your shadow.

I am that coolness that covers you in your time of need,

I am the light in the dark,

I am forever your love, no matter the time.

Never forget, I am there, Only for you,

my love.
