Chapter 1
The Amulet
Once, long ago in the lands of Egypt, an amulet was created. This amulet captured the very love and desire of the world. This Amulet could control ,the nations leaders and the worlds fate. Sadly, around 1863, the Amulet disapered. It has been reportadly been seen four times since it is lost. Everyday, the world hopes to find it, for when love is put in the wrong hands, it can destroy.
Ginny Weasly woke abruptly Sunday morning. In her hands, she still held a recent book she had check out. "The Amulet". She liked it, but found little joy in the hopeless tales of fantasy anymore. She wished she could wake up next to someone she loved. Now THAT was fantasy! Shortly after graduationg last year, Ginny had rented a small apartment, near her family. Ron was now working at the ministry of magic, in the same department as her father. She had no idea what had happened to Harry, Hermione, and all her friends and enemies at Hogwarts. They had writtent to her during her seventh year, but had all stopped writing in the end. She supposed they had better things to do. So much had happened since graduation. She rolled out of her small, creaky bed and walked paisley carpet. The carpet was stiff and itched her feet. WHAM! Something flew through her window, shattering glass.
"Repario!" she mumbled and the glass flew back together. Sitting on the carpet, was a necklace. She picked it up. On the end of the silvery chain, was a black stone. It was about the size of a baby's fist. She held it in her hand. Immeditly, the black inside smoked and turned red. She recognized this stone, The Amulet of Affection.
