A/N: Just a stupid drabble I made through pounding my head repeatedly into the keyboard (like most writers). Sorry for any mistakes and yadda yadda. Also, I realized this is a bit too cutesy for my taste, but hopefully maybe not for you guys. END TRANSMISSION!

"Point of No Return"

-"Past the point of no return, The final threshold
What warm unspoken secrets
will we learn... Beyond the point of no return?"

"How do I look, then?"

"You want my honest opinion or just what you want to hear?"

"Surprise me."

"Then you're in luck, since they're both the same." he straightened his tall and bony body and tugged at the brim of his fedora, causing it to dip slightly over his eye sockets. "Valkyrie Cain, you look absolutely beautiful."

"Glad we're agreed then." she smiled her brightest smile at him.

"What would you have done if we weren't?"

"I would have left you here and never returned." she replied solemnly, but her smile still stuck, making it rather hard for him to believe her.

She walked towards him in all her splendor and tangled her arm with his. His suit felt crisp to the touch, it was new and it was the deepest of black. His shirt were even whiter than his bones, and his purple tie as vivid as ever. He still wore that dingy old hat much to her dismay. She'd had wanted him to maybe go for something that weren't so ancient and dusty looking. 'But,' she reasoned. 'It just wouldn't be him without it.'

"That's still an option, you know."

"What is?" she asked, having suddenly become lost in thought as they slowly walked forward.

"Leave and never return, of course." He paused, both in step and in silence. "You don't have to go through with it."

"You're speaking as if we're heading into battle and the point of no return, Skulduggery." she said with just a hint of amusement in her voice and tugged for him to move forward again.

"Technically... this is the point of no return."

"Are you always this optimistic on such happy occasions?"

"Just as long as I've made everything clear to you, Val. I have absolutely nothing I can give you."

"As long as you have a pot of hot coffee ready for me in the mornings, I'm sure I'll be perfectly fine."

Skulduggery chukled silently and Valkyrie gripped his arm tighter as they continued walking, pushing open the big white doors that led into the grand Hall. She sighed contentedly at all the familiar faces in the rows and continued that bright smile that never seemed to want to fade as Skulduggery led her down the aisle to become his wife.

Whoa sappy. *hits self* That's gonna annoy me for quite a while. R&R, though! =D
