Do you know it,
The
feeling of life over eons?
I have watched you
Wanted
you
Held you
Laid with you.
But you are not mine.
These
sweet words mean nothing
Your heart belongs to another.
The
Angel
The shadow in your dreams.
His eyes haunt you
His
voice echoes
Trying to reach a demon long lost.
The God of
Death and his Angelic Soldier,
Neither of Ethereal matter
But
enough to complete one another.
I had no place.
When
your other half died,
The Stoic Angel's wings torn
I could
not fill the gap,
That pocket of existence.
But cycles
turn
And we met again and again.
That sweet hello, the sad
goodbye.
You could not see him
But you knew him.
Your
soul resonated this.
I would live
You would live
He would
live.
And you would search
Across lives
Across eons
For
him.
And I am nothing so divine,
A mere spectator in this
cruel game.
Hide and seek
Only he means not to hide,
And you
not meant to seek.
On the street, on the coast
"Have I
seen you before?"
Your voice was always sweet.
Every life
we meet again
Behind your eyes you hear
His call sounds only to
you.
What crime have I committed,
Keeping me from your
truest gaze?
What must I repent to gain your hand?
I don't
ask that you forget,
Only that you cease.
This search has
dragged far too long.
Your heart aches as mine does.
You for
him
And mine for you.
Cycles will turn and life be
reborn
But for once let me hold you,
You as you are.
Let him
rest in memory.
For at least one lifetime…
Be with
me.
Entirely.
Completely.
Mine.
