"Eric?" Calleigh asked, as someone walked into the locker room
"Hey Calleigh" He said tired. "What are still doing here?" He asked.
"I just needed to catch up on some of my cases" Calleigh explained. She took a deep breathe and continued. "So I figured out what you're doing" She said
"Can't wait to hear where this is going." He muttered.
"You're leaving CSI, aren't you?" Calleigh asked, hardly any emotion in her voice. Eric closed the door of his locker and walked and walked around the block on lockers to see Calleigh face to face. "You were always good at reading me" He said and Calleigh smiled. "Let's not tell anybody else for now because I don't feel like answering lots of questions."
"I wouldn't" Calleigh smiled, shaking her head "So why are you going?" Calleigh asked.
"A lot of reasons." Eric stated.
"Life's too short?" Calleigh laughed, though she wanted to cry. Eric was leaving.
"Yeah basicly" Eric chuckled.
"And what about you and me?" Calleigh asked. When Eric didn't answer, she shrugged, still looking at him. "I guess CSI's not the only game in town"
"Like I said." Eric said shaking his head, his voice a whisper. "You know me too well" He said walking towards her, giving her a small kiss. In his arms, Calleigh's emotions showed themselves and Eric felt a few tears on his shirt.
She stared into the empty space of where Eric was just standing wondering what she would do.
Calleigh stared at the white stick in her hand, before flnging it in the trash. She didn't know that she pregnant till he left. She wanted to call someone but she realized that this was her problem, nobody elses. She didn't even plead for him to stay. She could have done that, but then she realized that that would just out salt on thw wound.
Her heart broken and pregnant, Calleigh realized there was only way out of this- even though this way out would haunt her for the rest of the night.
