Immortal Cursetridge
My name is Tim, and I love Mortal Kombat and it's bloody kombat and fatalities. I played it all the time at the arcades back in the day. Then one day, I decided that I wanted a copy to play at home. I went to the store to buy the Sega Genesis version because that version has the blood code, and Super Nintendo version don't. I payed for the copy, and went home. I opened the box only to find the snes versions instead.
"No, I was ripped off!" I said. So I go back to the store and tell the clerk that the wrong version of Mortal Kombat was put into the wrong case.
"Oops, my bad! Here's the correct copy!" said the clerk. I took the copy from the clerk, go home, opened the case, and it was the right copy, or so it seems!
"Yes, I has correct copy!" I said. So I put cartridge in the Sega Genesis, and the game began. Everything began normally. Then I put in the blood code to enable blood and get the arcade experience, only it did not work. All I heard was a laugh when I inputted code. I tried again and again and again and I just get the same laugh every time. Then I discovered the horrible truth. The copy I have is actually the snes version hacked into a Genesis cartridge. Characters bleed sweat instead of red blood, and fatalities are censored.
"Oh no, I have been ripped off again!" So I tried to remove the cartridge from my Sega Genesis, only it would not remove. No matter how hard I pulled, it refuses to come off the Genesis. First I tried to remove the screws from the Genesis, but the screws won't turn. Then I tried to break the cartridge with a hammer, but it wouldn't break. Then I tried to break the Genesis with the hammer, but it wouldn't break either. Then I put the Genesis and cartridge on fire, but they wouldn't burn. Then I dropped the console with the cartridge from a very tall building in a city, and they both survived the fall.
No matter what I did, I cannot get the cartridge off the console. The next day, I brought the Genesis with the cartridge to the store, and told the clerk that the copy I have of Mortal Kombat is actually the snes version hacked into a Genesis cartridge, and it won't come off my Genesis.
"Muwahahahaha, have you looked at the back?" The clerk said. I looked at the back of the cartridge and it said "Immortal Cursetridge"
"You will never win!" said the clerk. "It was all part of my evil plan!" Then the clerk removed his mask, which didn't looked like a mask, and revealed himself to be none other than SHANG TSUNG! "Your soul is mine!" Shang Tsung then absorbed my soul, and now I am inside of him.
Inside of Shang Tsung, I found series creator, Ed Boon, who is forced to make new Mortal Kombat for all eternity, and then I became Shao Kahn, and I become villain of the new Mortal Kombats. My life was never the same after that.
