Disclaimer: I do not own White Collar

"Peter I'm bored." Neal said as he sat in the surveillance van. Neal really hated the surveillance van, he would much rather go outside and be part of the action.

"Yes Caffery, that's only the millionth time you've said that." Peter replied focusing on the screen in front of him.

"Can't I just-"

"Nope you're staying here. If nothing happens in a half hour we'll go." Peter interrupted.

Neal sighed, "Fine." He then sat back and stared at the screen. Fifteen minutes passed in complete silence.

"Hey Peter?" Neal asked.

"What?"

"What do you want for Christmas?" Neal asked with a grin.

"I have no idea." Peter answered with a small hint of annoyance.

"Come on there's got to be something and if you tell me a tie, I'll have to have Mozzie help me buy a present for you." Neal said.

"Can we have this conversation later? You must be really bored." Peter said with a small smile, shaking his head.

"I am and you are not helping things. Do you have a piece of paper by any chance?" Neal asked.

"Umm yeah." Peter said still trying to focus on the screen while handing Neal a piece of paper.

"Thanks." Neal replied, looking at the clock they had seven minutes left. The van was once again pretty quiet besides Neal making noise when he folded the paper.

"Caffery what are you doing?" Peter asked as he finally noticed the con man folding the paper.

"One second—oh there we go!" Neal said with a smile at his origami paper crane.

"Truly wonderful, nine hundred and ninety nine more of those and you're wish will come true." Peter said.

"You're right, but look we have two more minutes! So my wish basically came true." Neal said happily like a little kid. "So Peter what do you want for Christmas?"

"Neal I told you we would talk about it later." Peter said.

"Yes and it has been at least ten minutes, that's later." Neal said with the trademark Caffery grin.

"You have a point but I still don't know what I want." Peter replied.

"Eleven days." Neal said.

"What?"

"You have eleven days to decide what you want because I am not shopping on Christmas Eve." Neal explained.

"What if I don't decide?" Peter asked with a smirk.

"Then it will be a surprise." Neal replied.

"Fine, I'll decide soon." Peter said with a sigh, not wanting to know what a surprise from Caffery would be like.

"Look, times up. I'm free!" Neal exclaimed jokingly. He then got out of the van followed by Peter.

"Yeah free to go anywhere in a two mile radius." Peter said.

"Thanks for the reminder." Neal said with a mock frown.

"Anytime, now-Ow! Caffery? What the hell?" Peter exclaimed after being hit with two snowballs.

"Lighten up, Peter it was just a snowball." Neal said laughing but stopped when a snowball hit his head, knocking his hat off.

"Oh now it's on." Neal said seriously with a grin.
