Tap, tap, tap.
Remus opened his eyes wearily, letting out a groan and turning in his bed to get comfortable again.
Tap, tap, tap.
Brown eyes shot open. He assumed he had just dreamt that tapping, but it was more insistent. He sat up and rubbed his eyes out, turning towards the window where a black figure sat. His eyes widened and he backed away, which resulted in him falling off the bed. He let out a groan and curse word.
Tap, tap, tap.
"Ugh," he groaned, crawling back onto his bed and over to the window, unlocking it and pushing it open. The dark figure slipped inside, not minding how soaked he was from the pouring rain. Remus closed his window before any of the said rain could get in his room before dropping back down to the bed. "What are you doing here?" He asked as he pushed his head into the pillow.
"I don't think you'll take I was in the neighborhood as an answer?" Remus turned his head and watched as the figure pushed his jacket off to reveal a black skin tight shirt thanks to the rain. He shouldn't watch, but he couldn't help it. The shirt was pulled over his head to reveal the tanned skin, and what was probably the most perfectly sculpted body at Hogwarts. "Enjoying the view?" He chuckled as he reached into a drawer to pull out a t-shirt, pulling it over his head. Remus almost whined at the loss of view. "Budge over." He ordered as he dropped his pants to leave him in boxers that were far too long for Remus' taste.
Remus didn't really have a choice. He scooted over in the bed to make room for him. He lay on his stomach and listened as his breathing became lighter and lighter until his guest was definitely asleep. Only then did he scoot back over and curl up against the boy, his arm thrown over his waist and head resting on his shoulder. He protectively tightened his grip.
This had happened far too many times for his taste. Ever since he was eleven, and had brought his friends over for summer hol and shown him his address, he would randomly show up at odd hours of the night, always climbing through the window to sleep. He'd been gone by the time Remus woke up for breakfast. He wasn't sure what hurt more: the fact that he had to climb into Remus' bed late at night, or the fact that he was gone before Remus could wake up to that handsome face.
"Moony," he breathed out, turning on his side and throwing an arm around his waist.
"I'm here. Go to sleep."
"Mmm. 'Sorry." He hummed as he pressed his face into Remus' hair.
"Don't apologize. You shouldn't be walking in this weather though."
"I couldn't stay there any—"
"I know."
He laid in silence, assuming the other had fallen asleep. That is before his chin was grabbed and he was forced to look up and meet his gaze. He felt his face burning. This had never happened. He had never even woken up when Remus cuddled up next to him, and now here he they were. And he wasn't angry, which surprised Remus.
He felt their lips meet and brown eyes widened. He returned the kiss passionately, putting his entire being in it. His hands came up to cup that perfect jawline, pulling him closer to deepen the kiss. It was perfect, it was bliss. When the kiss ended, he actually whimpered out loud.
"Go to sleep, Moony."
He took a few deep breathes, giving a nod. "But…"
"I'll be here in the morning."
He felt that blush return at the promise. "Alright… alright." He nodded, rewrapping his arms around his companion and tightening them.
"Night."
"Night, Sirius."
