It wasn't as if America only did it because he had no choice to. He wanted to help others.
The contract that he and all of his ally countries signed states that if one were in trouble, the allied nations to that country would help them. But treaty or not, America would help anyone needing him.
He just, couldn't not help. America always comes to the aid of a nation who is on his side. Not only that he wants more people to be on his side, because it's right, he doesn't like to force people. Getting South Korea a democracy was something he was proud of. He and Yong Soo are great buddies, and that's something America would never regret; no matter how much bloodshed was needed.
The world was turning cold, and that may or may have not been America's fault, he realized. But times change, and frankly, there was nothing they could really do about it without a useless war breaking out. America would just have to accept that the 21st century was a time for emotion, and every country was going through something different.
Even America himself. His own country was battling with economy and keeping everyone on their feet. America didn't think his people were doing everything possible to fix it, but they were doing everything manageable in the situation. Within time, things will get better. Keeping an open heart was something the North American nation was good at. It usually worked out, too.
Whether it is England, America would do anything for him; despite their forever long history, he really loved his mentor nation. England did so much for him, even if it took him a long time to realize it. No matter how many times England would curse him out in that weird British curse-word language of his, America would always have his back.
Whether it is Japan, through all of their cruel hatred and past bloodshed; they were allies now. America had found new respect in the eastern nation. Japan was his buddy, and America would always stick to it. America wrote Japan's rules, not to control him; but to change him for the best. He found that Japan was doing well, not as young as he used to be; but all the same content. Almost everyone had some kind of dilemma, and it was good to see Japan was in no grave danger. The earthquakes his land has been getting didn't do him good at all. America made sure to do anything he could to help.
Whether it is his bro Canada, he'd always be there for him. Even though America knew the upper nation was jealous and frustrated with him, America couldn't help much of it. America was America, and anyone who knew him should know by now, that even with all the changes, he'd never lose his obnoxious ways. America grinned at the thought. He really should hang out with Canada more…maybe people would notice him. Next time they played ball, should America not throw so hard? He made a mental note to actually talk to Canada about it.
America had a thing for forgetting important tasks, you could say. But he did try his best, honestly!
Whether it be England, Japan, Canada, France, South America, Africa, Russia[though he was a bit intimidating] or any country who needed him, America would always be their hero.
A/N: Hey guys. This random idea popped into my head, because in my little cosplay Hetalia group, I'm America. So, I thought I should at least make myself look good! Haha, just kidding. I'm not exactly sure I got all the facts right, but I hope his gets the point across about America's true intentions. I'll be updating College Days tomorrow. Reviews please? Thanks.
