A/N: this fic was a request I received on Tumblr once.
By the way, "honmei chocolate" is the one you give with feelings of love, while the "giri chocolate" you give for friends or family.
February 13. Late at night, there were lights still on at the girl's kitchen.
A faint cry could be heard, as she got cut again with the knife - probably for the fourth time already.
The girl sight, looking at the blood that was dripping from her finger.
Making a perfect chocolate was not as easy as B-ko thought, but she wouldn't give up. Not when she decided to confess her feelings for someone for the first time in her life.
Having stopped the bleeding, she continued with her task until getting the perfect chocolate.
Morning came, while B-ko was still exhausted. And now, she was anxious, too.
The girl took a quick shower, got dressed and put on her favorite ribbon, smiling at the mirror while doing it.
Everything was perfect.
B-ko arrived at school early that day, hoping that she could get a good chance to give the chocolate to him.
But, as always, her popularity didn't help. When the girl noticed, there were already people around her.
That was no good.
She would have to wait until a better moment to confess.
During lunch time, B-ko found the perfect moment to realize her plan.
The girl headed to the class next to hers, and stopped at the closed door.
She heard A-ya talking to another classmate.
"Hey, A-ya. Did you receive any chocolate yet?"
"Of course not."
"Hm, but there isn't someone that you would like to receive chocolate from? Don't you like any girls?"
"Not reallly."
"Not even… B-ko? Heard you two were good friends."
"B-ko? We're not that close. And I don't like her like this, anyway."
The girl stood at the closed door, sobbing.
Rejection.
She didn't even have the chance to confess her feelings, and was already rejected.
Of course it would happen.
The one she was in love with was A-ya, after all.
Wiping her tears and forcing an usual cheerful smile, the girl entered the room, approaching the boys and giving the chocolate to her beloved one.
"I made giri chocolate for some friends! Here's one for you, too!"
