"And what about that one?" Kate asked, lazily pointing up at the stars above them. Geoffrey looked to where she pointed and a smile stretched over his lips.

"Ah, that one…" he started softly, earning the sleepy attention of his friends. "That one is my favorite," he purred, "the story of a wolf, cast away all his life because he was different. But, in the end, he was able to prove how important he was, his heart pure and his soul brave."

"Yeah?" William whispered with a smirk, looking at Geoffrey with a fond glint his eyes.

"Yes," Geoffrey hummed.

"Tell us more," Jocelyn pleaded, earning the agreeing pleas of Roland and Wat. "What happens to the wolf?"

"Alright," Geoffrey nodded and raised his arm, making an invisible trail in the sky from the stars. "The story begins long ago, the wolf just a pup. His clan never paid any mind to him because of his dreams, always telling him how impossible they were and never once giving him a chance to prove that just maybe they weren't as impossible as they seemed." William's smirk turned to a smile and he moved his hand to hold Geoffrey's own free one, linking their fingers together. The writer did no more to acknowledge this than smile, as he continued, "As the wolf grew up, he lived in the shadow of many others, always hoping, always dreaming, that one day he would be able to prove everyone wrong."

"What was his dream?" Kate asked, smiling and Geoffrey closed his eyes before opening them, gazing up at the stars.

"To have his name written in the stars."

"Does he do it? Does he get his name in the stars?" Wat asked before hissing in pain when William kicked him.

"Shut up, Wat, let the man speak." He puffed out, nodding to Geoffrey. "Go on, love."

"Thank you," the writer hummed before taking a breath, "years later, the wolf comes upon a foreign land and meets new, strange creatures. And along the way, he encounters another creature, though this one much less friendly."

"What happens?" Wat asked before shrinking back when William tries to kick him again. "Sorry…"

"They fight." Geoffrey says in answer instead, "The other creature taunted the wolf and did many things, hoping to bring him down. But the wolf stood tall, holding his head high. In the end, it was the creature that was brought down, with the help of the wolf's new friends." Geoffrey smiled. "Of course, it wasn't until much later that the wolf finally lived his dream, but he'd decided it hadn't really mattered then. Not as long as he had his friends."

"You're making this up," Roland frowned and Geoffrey huffed out a breath.

"I'm not," he argued lightly. "It's true, it happened."

"Yeah?" Roland challenged, "Then what's the wolf's name?"

It was then that Geoffrey looked at William and he closed his eyes as he rested his head against the knight's shoulder. "William." He breathed out, shutting Roland up.

It was silent for a few moments, peaceful for once, until Wat spoke up.

"Hey William, you're named after a wolf!" The others couldn't help but laugh at the red-head, though William smiled as he kissed Geoffrey's head.

"I love you," he whispered so only the writer could hear and Geoffrey hummed softly.

"I love you too, William Thatcher."
