Robin's Point of view
Why me? Why my best friend? When did I start liking him? All these thoughts were running through my head while we were training together.
I stared at him, he was lifting weights. 'Damn he looks sexy lifting those weights.' I thought thankful the mind link wasn't up and running right now.
He caught me staring at him. "Yo Robin, what's up you have been staring at me for like five minutes now."
I shook my head. "Sorry, it's just…you know what never mind." What was I thinking? He is with Artemis, but that didn't seem to stop me from fantasizing about being with him.
He sped over to me. "What's up Rob? I can tell something is on your mind."
"It's nothing." I said a little too quickly.
"All right if you're not going to tell me I'll just have M'gann take a peek in your mind." He turned around to walk away.
"No! Don't do that!" I sighed. "Fine I'll tell you, but you can't tell anybody else."
"I won't I promise." He crossed his heart. "Now spill it.
"I like…" I said you so quiet it was barely audible, but the speedster caught it.
"You like what?" He asked.
"I like training with you, its fun." I said smiling at him. 'Nice save Rob' I thought to myself.
"Not as fun as it is playing with, hair mousse or shaving cream." He said nudging me.
"Or train jumping, and eating raw cookie dough." I laughed.
"Or bugging the heck out of Roy while stealing cookies from his pantry." He said.
"Remember that time we thought it would be a good idea to stay up all night and drink a ton of Monsters?" I asked as I remembered that night.
"Yeah, we ended up half asleep and on a mission the next day." He laughed.
"It was worth it though." I said standing up.
"Totally" He agreed and we collapsed in a fit of giggles.
"Hey remember that time we 'accidentally' dyed Batman's cape neon green?" He asked when he could finally talk.
"Yeah I do, I was grounded for like a day and a half." I laughed.
"Aw come on no fair I was grounded for a month."
"What can I say I have the gift." I said as I flashed him a smile. 'Damn he is so hot right now.'
"Hey, Rob want to spend the night here on Mount Justice tonight?" He asked.
I smiled and nodded. "Sure why not? It could be like old times. Me beating your butt at video games, and you complaining that I must have hacked it. While the both of us get wasted on sugar."
He smiled and nodded. "It's a date then. See you tonight." He walked off in search of food.
'Did he really have to say the word date?' I thought as I watched him leave. 'Such a cute butt, I wonder how it would feel in my hands. Dude get it together he is with Artemis.'
Even with the warning from my brain, I still continued to fantasize about him. Up until it was time to go back to the mansion to get a few things for the night.
