Harbor Lights Jack/Gwen

"Are there good things out there too?"

Gwen leaned against the railing, tears blurring her vision. There was loneliness to her; a sort of misery in the way she stood that belied her calm demeanor.

Looking at her, Jack could understand. He knew what it was to be alone, even when you were surrounded by people. How can Rhys not see her breaking?

"Yes." He stepped forward and wrapped his arm around her, tugging her to his chest. "Yes."

They stared at the lights on the water, before she tilted her face up and reeled him in for a kiss.
