This is an idea that I had about Ladybug and Chat Noir sharing an apartment, each with their own room. They still don't know each other's identities, though. (Maybe they wear a fake mask at all times that they're in each other's presence? I haven't thought out the details.) Here's a quick one shot.

Adrien woke up sweating and shaking, tangled in his blankets. The dream—it still flashed at him even in the waking world. The blood, the battle, the cruel laugh, and the light dying out of those bluebell eyes.

He was shivering, and he could feel the tears at the back of his eyes, threatening to spill over.

He could think of only one thing to do.

Adrien grabbed the black mask on his nightstand and put it on. He stumbled out his door and before he could chicken out, knocked on Ladybug's door.

He heard a groan and some shuffling inside. Immediately he felt bad for waking her, but he couldn't imagine going back to his room, lying back down in his bed, and going back to sleep to relive the terrors.

"Come in," she said groggily. Adrien creaked the door open cautiously. Ladybug was sitting up in her bed with her red mask on.

"What is it?" she asked groggily, sounding rather annoyed.

Adrien regretted this. She's going to think he's so stupid, can't even handle a nightmare.

"I, uh, had a nightmare," he said stupidly.

Ladybug's eyes softened.

"Chat, you're shaking," she noticed.

She scooted over on her bed and patted the space beside her.

Adrien blushed. Ladybug was letting him sleep with her?

He closed the door and shuffled awkwardly across the room to sit on her bed as she lied back down. He eased himself into a horizontal position next to her and closed his eyes.

As soon as he relaxed into her mattress, he felt her arm settle onto his chest. He tentatively wrapped his own arms around her small body, and and he heard her sigh against his chest.

A few minutes later, Ladybug was asleep. Adrien, feeling safe and comfortable, finally found the peace to fall asleep, in his Lady's arms.

Okay, there it is—my second fanfic. And please review! Also, if anyone has any prompts, requests, etc., send them my way. I won't guarantee that I'll do any of them, but I'm in need of some inspiration, and I'm hoping I'll get some ideas from your ideas. Thanks for reading!
