E/O Drabble Challenge: Word-Green
A groan brought Sam to the bed where his brother lay.
Wide eyes met squinty eyes
"More pain medicine?"
"Please."
Sam eased his brother up, a cup of water and pills placed in trembling hands.
Dean swallowed gratefully.
Sam let him lay back and then sat on the side of the bed.
Dean covered his aching head with a bent arm. "It hurts." He moaned pitifully.
"Dude." Sam implored, patting, "You've got to watch out for the green-eyed monsters."
"How's I supposed to know Jumbo thought he had dibs on her?"
"It's called thinking with your "upstairs" brain."
"Bite me."
