PROLOGUE
Wind…All she felt was the wind breezing right by her, through her hair, it was very calming and made her feel content. Where was she? Hazel eyes slowly fluttered open; she noticed that she was standing in the middle of a field. Golden grass and blue sky painted with clouds surrounded her. Bright circler blue lights flickered around her. 'Souls' she thought to herself, 'Why are there so many?' Her eyes flickered around calmly, she took in her surroundings…everything here felt so pure and pleasant. The scenery around her looked untouched, so breathtakingly beautiful. Thoughts filled her mind, like 'How did I get here?' 'What is this place?' Still…the aura admitting from the air was slowly calming her nerves, her feet moved by them self as she started walking along the seemingly never ending land. Red…A red light in the distance caught her eye. Without another thought she started running towards it, it was drawing her near almost like an invisible force that pulled her over to the mysterious red light.
Stopping, she was now face to face with the red light. It was another soul…this one though, it felt corrupt, and spine shivering evil admitted from the soul.
Staring was all she could do. Reaching towards it, she wanted to purify it…She wanted to see it turn the bright blue, she wanted it to become an innocent soul. But fate had other plans as a Dark black hand reached out and grabbed her wrist, making her flinch, a pure black…creature started to slip from the un-pure soul. She did her best not to scream in terror as to what was in front of her. A sinner…Not only that but one she knew all to well. Disturbingly distorted horns were placed on top of its head, a sinister grin was placed upon it's face. Sharp nails dug into the skin of her wrist as it got up to her face and whispered " e?" She screamed.
Sitting up in her bed, tears fell from her face. Her breathe was hasty and shaken. Mari, her older sister ran, crashing into Veni's bedroom "VENI!" She was beside her in the moment it took to blink. "Veni, I heard you scream, what's wrong are you hurt?!" Mari's voice laced with worry for the shaking, sobbing girl in front of her. "H-He's back…" Veni whispered. "Who…Who's back?" Mari spoke in a weary tone. The next response was louder but fear was traced with every word Veni spoke to her sister. "The king has returned and now were all going…going to die."
Yay! Prologue complete! This one was purposely short. The others in this series will be much. MUCH longer. So the two people you've met so far were Veni ( Short for Victoria ) and Her older sister Mari! WAY MORE CHARACTERS TO COME! This is an idea I've had for a while! So I hope you guys enjoy! Btw, this was going to be a comic and it soon will be but I thought I would write it out first so hope you guys like it! Tell me if you do! and if you do, I'll be sure to make more!
