"Mr. Eaton, sir, your new partner has arrived! Be nice to her; she'll be here for a week," Tobias Eaton's assistant announced, barging into his office. Tobias straightened up, knowing he would be in trouble if he was caught relaxing on the job.

His job was simple: kiss girls while people took pictures. Tobias didn't enjoy doing it, but he was paid per girl, which he did enjoy. Each girl stayed only for a day or two, except the new girl. She would be here for a week.

When she entered, Tobias's heart melted. He had never felt that way before, never experienced love before. He grinned a stupid little smile, and blushed heavily. The girl was beautiful in a natural way, but she made him feel sparks just by looking at her. He couldn't imagine what it was going to be like to kiss her.

"What's your name?" Tobias asked. "And remember, you only get one chance, so choose wisely." He had never flirted with anyone before, and his attempt was kind of failing.

The girl mumbled something that sounded like "Beatrice Prior," but he couldn't hear. So he gestured for her to repeat herself. "Tris," she said more firmly. "Tris Prior."

"I'm Tobias. Call me Four, and don't ask why." Four was his modeling name, but he liked Tobias better.

"Should we…get on with it?" Tris seemed to be uncomfortable with kissing a random stranger. Tobias decided to lighten the mood.

"Would you rather we did it without cameras?" he joked. "Because a lot of things could happen then…"

Tris turned bright red. "No, can we just do it now?"

They walked over to the backdrop and stood there awkwardly. Tobias began to put his arms around Tris, and she tripped over her feet and sent them sprawling to the floor, her on top of him. They both scrambled up awkwardly, but not before the cameraman managed to snap a picture.

They finally did the photo shoot, and Tobias's manager was pleased. "Tris," he tried to say in his think Chinese accent. "You don't have to come back the rest of the week. We already have enough pictures."

Tobias felt his heart break as the only woman he had ever loved walked out the door. He knew, at that moment, that he would never love again.
