~Broken Arm~

Piper howled in pain as the bandage on her arm was pulled tight by Junko. She had been surprised to learn that the huge wallop was incredibly gentle with his hands. Piper looked up as Junko checked the casterplast on her arm was still in place, seemingly pleased with his work, he nodded allowing Piper to get up.

Finn was by her side in an instant, making her already throbbing headache flare up again.

"Can I get you anything? Like water, or pain subsiders, or do you just want me to leave you alone and keep quiet?"

"Thank you for the offer Finn, but I'm capable of getting myself water and pain subsiders. It was a nice thought though." Piper said with a smile as she walked to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. Walking back out she was immediately met with the anxious faces of her friends.

"I'll be fine guys, really im okay" Piper said with a reassuring smile

"Really? That's what they all say when their infected with mind worms, they believe their okay, but really their not."

"Thank you Stork, but im quiet sure im okay, and even more sure I don't have mind worms." Laughed Piper as she walked out of the room, heading to her favourite place on the Condor.

"Yep…" Stork said "she's got mind worms" Shaking his head in worry, Stork turned to his stash of mind worm repellent, making a note to himself to keep one on him at all times.

Aerrow sighed gently, to let Piper know he was there so he didn't startle her and quietly sat down.

Both the SkyKnight and the Navigator looked out over the horizon to the setting sun and watched as the sky changed colour's before their eyes.

"Piper look, im really-" Aerrow began before he was cut off.

"Aerrow we have been over this already, it's not your fault I crashed my Heli-Scooter, besides, if it wasn't for you I'd probably be sitting here with more than just a broken arm."

Aerrow smiled, he knew Piper was right, most of the time she was, but still felt responsible and saddened that he couldn't save his friend and adopted family member from getting hurt. It was then that he silently promised himself-and Piper- that he wouldn't let anything happen to her while her arm was still broken.

Aerrow was so busy, infact, making his vow that he didn't hear Piper calling his name.

"Aerrow!"

"Ahh sorry, yeh, what is it?"

"Check out that weird glowing light over there on that Terra"

"That is a weird colour, it's not blue, but not purple either… Do you know what that Terra is called?" Aerrow asked.

"No I don't actually, which is weird, I've never seen it before." Came the amazed reply.

"Im going to tell Stork to head for that Terra, I want to know what that glow is."

"Dark Ace" Cyclonis drawled, as the latter walked in, "I want you to take a group of Talon's and go directly to these co-ordinates. Don't let anyone stop you, especially those Storm Hawks, and bring me back that crystal.""How will I know what it is Master Cyclonis and should I know what it does?" Dark Ace asked as he bowed down .

"The crystal glows a blue and purple colour, you will know it when you see it. And it is a dimension crystal, you cannot touch it with your bare hands, skin contact activates it and you could be sent anywhere. Just retrieve it for me. At any cost. Oh and Dark Ace, be quick about it, the Terra is only visible for five hours."

"Consider it done Master, and if I should run into curious visitors?"

"Get rid of them however you like." Cyclonis answered with a wave of her hand.

Dark Ace grinned as he walked to gather his Talons.
