Lara packed her bag back with last minute supplies. She filled it with flares, matches, flashlights, first aid, walkie talkies, a radio, and an ax. She reaches for her halters she flipped her knife, placing it in its host. She stared at her handguns and pistols. She thought will I need them? She remembered anything could lay waiting she grabbed her Glock, and her handgun she used on the island, it had scratches and been battered but it reminds her to always fight. She looked at her bow and arrows, she placed them carefully in her bag. She loaded her holsters and pockets with ammo. She grabbed her green medallion, tied it on her neck. She held it and whispered, "this is for you daddy." She walked to the door before she left her house, she turned around, stared at the empty large space, heard the silence, she took it in for a moment, but she didn't enjoy it. Lara realized her life will never be able to remain quiet and simple again. She closed the door locking the bolt leaving the key there she open the hole inside a rock dropped it in and closed it. The sun was just rising above the trees and she walked.
The plane was full of noise, listening the roaring engines, the radio chatter between the pilots. He asked, " miss Croft you have a nice friend to hook you up with a ride like this to an island, especially where your coordinates are, lucky we were heading to a coming up Typhoon in Thailand." Lara smiled the copilot got up and handed her a para-shoot and asked "are you sure you want to go in this way? We can land on a nearby island and get you a shi-" Lara cut him off "YES, I am not taking any ships to any islands anymore…" she strapped her back to her front and started securing the para shoot, she placed her arms out he doubled checked it, he said okay pull yellow first then blue, if any malfunction pull red so your not dead." She nodded "got it" he yelled to the front, "how far till drop zone?" he replied shouting, "2 minuets" he said okay Miss Croft we are going to open the door, I will instruct you when to jump. After this you are on your own. There's a tracker you can turn on if you need it the walkie is on our signal, go on channel 140 to communicate via your radio. Now hold on to this strap here tight." She grabbed the yellow strap and grasped on. As he opened the door the wind blasted through giving her a rush her bangs few back her braid flapping like ribbon on a windy day she resecured her googles she looked down at the deep blue and black water the caps of white shone almost like stars fading in and out. She thought to herself no going back now. She saw the large spot of green and sand colored island sticking out like an emerald in this starry sea. He shouted, "get ready" she braced herself, she took in a deep breath, she remembered her dad she thought of her dream, how he said he was proud how he begged her to finish this for him. She heard the copilot yell "jump" she leaped forward into the sky falling towards the starry blue the wind rushing past her, she spread her arms out, gazing at the green island, she was flying. She counted in her mind, one…two….three….four…five she pulled the cord she sprang back she fell slowly down descending toward the sea with the island just 10 yards away.
