Set after Tosh and Owens death. Jack has not spoken to Gwen and Ianto since there death. During an investigation, Gwen lets of some steam. However, does she regret what she says or is there some truth in it after all?
"You cannot leave those children thinking that there parents abandoned them. You know what it was like growing up without a father jack, surely you wouldn't want that to happen to them" Gwen says confidently
"So what are we gonna tell them, that an alien called a weevil ripped your mum and dad to shreds..There 12 year old kids, They will start asking questions and the truth will slip out. If we tell them about the aliens then we might as well invite them to the hub. We cannot tell them."
"No you cannot tell them, me on the other I can. Whats happened to you Jack? The Jack I know and love would rush in there and tell those children as much as he could about what happened to there parents and yet you are brushing it off. You honestly believe that they are going to not look for there parents. Then you are wrong.
"Gwen, if you dare tell them then I'll….
"You'll what, fire me. Well actually I was thinking about quitting because of your shitty attitude, so I guess I have got nothing to loose." And with that Gwen rushes out of the Cog door and does what she believes is right. So comes clean to the children about everything

Gwen arrives back at the Hub.
"So I'm guessing you told them"
"Yes. but only because you wouldn't"
"No because I couldn't"
"That's crap Jack. You didn't have the heart. You know since Tosh and Owen died you have changed so much. I have been bottling up all this anger at you, because you seem to ignore that fact that me an Ianto are alive. You say as minimum as possible to us. Did you think that you were the only one that was grieving? I guess that I have finally found the two major flaws in Captain Jack Harkness. You have no heart and you are unable to love or feel love. It's great to no that gave up Rhys, my husband some who I loved for a pig like you. I love you more than anything in the world. You are my life, but all I am to you and all I will ever be to you is a collegue. I put all of my heart and soul into this job and into you, and you don't even notice, because you are to caught up in yourself and your precious doctor. So next time you are running away from me and Ianto and leaving us of which I'm sure there will be many times, turn around and look, just for a second and look at the damage you cause and the chaos that will always be right behind you!" Gwen glared at Jack. That was the most raged that when had ever been and Jack knew that some of the stuff she said wasn't crap, it was the truth. Gwen fled
And with that Gwen cooper was gone
