This is my first non-HP fanfic. Rose is coming back in Doctor Who and I found this poem that I wrote a few months ago and thought that I should put it up here to see what you guys think of it. I hope you enjoy it. Please Read and Review.
Rose's Poem
I stood on the soft sand,
Wind blowing through my hair,
Not wiping my tears with my hand,
Only wishing you would be there.
You took me to many places
Where few had gone before,
Life was like a lot of races,
I still want some more.
Before I came with you
Life was a bore,
The same routine was what people knew,
It was like some kind of law.
You showed me another way,
Another way to live life,
But from home I was away,
And some thought I was your wife.
The adventure and the things I saw
As long as I live I will never forget,
I will treasure them for evermore
Even the last place we met.
You have got a place in my heart
Where you will stay forever
From where you will never part,
You give me a lot of power.
Now I stand here without you
Feeling like I have lost a part of me,
With only memories of you
That will stay with me for eternity.
