Prompt: 'Faye and Cassie snuggled under a blanket, teasing banter between them and some fluff :)'
My fill:
Faye shivered against the chilly air and instinctively shuffled closer to the warm body next to her. Upon hearing a soft laugh she turned to glare at the blonde "What? It's cold!"
"That's because the heating doesn't work here and it's winter." Cassie chuckled breathily, despite her own shivering.
"Remind me why we're here again." Faye requested, glaring at nothing in particular and silently cursing the abandoned house they were currently residing in.
"In your own words we're here to 'get our magic on'." Cassie quoted, her attempt at imitating her 'kind of' girlfriend earning her a light elbow to the side "Ow! If you're just going to abuse me maybe I should sit somewhere else until the storm blows over."
"Don't you dare." Faye responded, clutching Cassie's arm to keep her in place "I'm fucking freezing!"
Cassie smirked and readjusted the blanket they were huddled under "I know a way we could warm up."
Faye grinned at the suggestion, slightly impressed by the influence she seemed to be having on the blonde "You seriously want my hands down your pants when they're this cold?" without missing a beat she slipped a hand under the collar of Cassie's shirt and pressed it against warm skins, eliciting a startled squeal from the blonde in question.
"FAYE!" Cassie exclaimed, batting the offending hand away and shuddering at the chill.
"I was just making a point." Faye shrugged innocently.
Cassie pouted miserably as she continued to shiver.
"You're such a wuss." Faye muttered with a roll of her eyes. Nevertheless she scooted forward and wrapped her arms around Cassie to share her body heat. She felt Cassie grin against her shoulder "Better?"
"Almost." Cassie answered, clutching her hands together behind Faye's back to make sure the other girl didn't move away. She shivered at the chill on her back "I'm still cold."
"Wuss." Faye repeated quietly as she moved an arm to awkwardly pull the blanket over and around them "Will that be all you highness?"
Cassie giggled at the dramatic response and pulled back to look into Faye's eyes which twinkled in the darkness of their makeshift shelter "I don't know…my nose is kind of frozen."
"And I'm supposed to do what about that?" Faye asked softly "In case you didn't notice my hands are kind of busy right now." Indeed every part of her body was somehow wrapped around the other girl, including her legs which had somehow managed to entwine with Cassie's between them and her arms which were wrapped tightly around Cassie's abdomen.
Cassie thought about that for a moment before leaning forward to rub her nose lightly against Faye's in an impromptu eskimo kiss. She couldn't help but giggle at Faye's 'What the fuck?' expression.
"Your nose is cold." Faye agreed, shivering slightly though she only pressed closer to Cassie as a response.
"I told you." Cassie retorted, unable to resist pressing a small kiss to Faye's lips.
"I didn't think you meant that cold." Faye countered "It feels like you've buried your head in snow."
Cassie hummed distractedly and moved her head to Faye's shoulder "We should stay like this for a while."
Faye sighed but reluctantly agreed "Fine but if anyone walks in on us like this…"
"I know." Cassie smiled softly as she felt Faye's cool hands slip under her shirt to rub lightly over her lower back, the movement obviously an attempt to warm Cassie up "We're fooling around, not snuggling."
"Exactly." Faye grinned, pressing a kiss to the top of Cassie's head.
