For Naruto.
Sometimes I sit and miss your smile. Your annoyance. The fact that you were so stubborn. Sometimes I think that you could possibly be something great. ( I'm still better then you.) I find it hard to leave Konoha behind. Although I hated it and it's fan girls with an unexplainable burning passion. When you do become something great, I'll be right there reminding you that I'll always be better then you. (But I'll still congratulate you though.) Just keep me somewhere in your heart. I'm usually not the sappy type. I'm never the sappy type actually. It's just that you're on my mind. It sucks that you could be reading this now. Oh well.
Sasuke Uchiha. (I still hate you.)
"Sasuke…" Naruto trailed off and looked at the sunset. He sighed. "I still hate you too." He smiled as he started home. Looking at his friend's grave one last time, he finally decided to leave.
Naruto hummed a little poem he had wrote on the day of Sasuke's funeral. It was more like a song. It brought back old memories of Team Seven. Which would always live in his heart. In Konohagakure.
Sometimes life brings us down.
But the sun always comes back around.
Sometimes you wonder what might happen next.
Excitement isn't always in town.
Sometimes you leave home to find your way.
You don't think destiny is to stay.
And if that is true I'll believe in you.
In my heart is where you may lay.
And even though you are gone.
I may not have yet moved on.
But that doesn't mean nothing. Anything.
Because yet I am still strong.
And when we meet once again.
I will still call you my friend.
And we'll laugh and play.
Just like other days.
And live until our days end.
Naruto finally opened his doors to find a folded note on his couch. Suspiciously picking it up, he opened the note to find the words: and I feel the same way about you dobe. Till we meet again Baka.
Smiling, Naruto headed to his room to go to a peaceful sleep.
Only time will tell.
My friend I wish you well.
This may be goodbye.
But please don't cry.
I'll buy you ramen that Wal Mart will sell.
