Terezi touched the cold window, quickly retracting it from the shock. She sighed softly. She was going to do it; she was going to feel the snow. She had been waiting for her friends to fall asleep on the floor in their sleeping bags. She could tell by her everyone's soft snoring that it was late into the night since they had quite the day.

After taking great care in lifting her walking stick, which was leaning against the wall, she pressed herself against the wall and tip-toed over to the door. She felt a round sphere and turned it, pulling it back. Every time it made a creaking sound, she would bite her lip. After a few minutes of creaking, she was for certain that it was opened wide enough to slip by.

She could feel the cold wind on her face. She took one step before feeling a crunch under her. She gasped and stepped back. She lightly touched it again as she closed the door slowly. She smiled at the coldness on her shoes. Terezi ran out in to it, falling down and moving her arms up and down, legs back and forth.

She rolled over and licked the snow.

As she stood up, someone hit her in the face with some snow.

"Get back in the house. We can play in it later today," A gruff voice said, who she knew to be Karkat. "Get some rest." He walked over to her and placed his blanket on her shoulders.

Terezi smiled as she and Karkat walked back inside.
