A/N I was reading 'starting over' (a great read I highly recommend it!!)and my own work when this idea popped into my head.You need to read 'Why I, kakashi ware a mask' to understand it.

Naruto was tired, he had suffered 20 bashes to the head, shouted 30 times, and had about 40 fights with Sasuke, and now he was heading home. Along by the forest there was a old dirt path, a really old dirt path. It was overgrown, messy, and had a bad aura around it, like something really, really bad had happened, long before Naruto was born, but Naruto , being Naruto, chose to ignore the smell of blood in the air, and follow this dead path.
"whoa!" Naruto had reached a house, "this place is trashed!!!!" The window was smashed the door beaten with what looked like tiny fists , the smell of blood had intensified, he could even taste the metallic substance. Naruto thought that with all the blood in the air someone might be dying inside that old, falling down, house.
"don't worry I'll save you!" Naruto easily bashed through the old, recently unlocked, door.
Naruto didn't like what he saw. There was a shadow of blood, from decades ago, the aura of unfinished business, and the least pleasing a aura of death. Naruto could see dust everywhere, but in one spot near the largest pool of blood there was a note it read 'I am trash'. Naruto shuddered. He could also see, just about, an addition to the confession it was in his sensei's messy writing it was barely readable I was spoiled by drops of water, tears maybe, but they were as old or angry as every thing else in the house was, they were tears of pure forgiveness and realisation. The dusty, burly, addition read:
'Those who don't follow the rules are trash
Those who don't look after their friends are worst than trash.'
Naruto smiled. He grabbed a black scroll from his pouch and upon it wrote his sensei's words and placed it with the note of admission.
As he walked out of the house the hunted aura lifted.
'I am trash.
Those who don't follow the rules are trash
Those who don't look after their friends are worst than trash.
All is forgiven, but not forgotten, great warrior
