Lois couldn't believe this was happening. Her life had gone from a happy one to a tragic one, all within a couple of days and in one day that once happy life that now felt like a distant memory would be gone for good.
She never thought it would be him too die first. She will never forget that day it would be for ever imprinted in her mind. Mind she's not surprised she hadn't forgotten that day yet it had only happened a few months ago. The burial for him had only taken place a few days ago as well. The day before he died had been the most painful, she had just found out she was pregnant with his son. When she had told him her findings the emotions running a tangent in his eyes were of Love, Confusion and sadness, sadness being he would never see his son born or watch him grow, confusion because he never thought he could have children and love for the woman sitting next to him who was carrying his unborn child. He had everything he had ever hoped for except time. The last words he spoke to her were 'I want you to live and bring our son up in this world and for you to know I will always love you' as the life drained from his eyes I whispered 'I love you too'.
